'Bird's Fort Treaty' Sculpture

An important part of the history of north Texas is the treaty signed by Sam Houston along with members of ten different Indians tribes who inhabited the area.  This sculpture represents the occasion when Sam Houston received the signed documents from leaders of the tribes, consenting to the cessation of attacks on the settlers.
